What's On in Berlin Today and This Weekend? (Updated Daily)

By Berlin ArtWalk · Updated 2026-08-10 · Berlin · Events · What's on

The fastest answer to "what's on in Berlin today?" is a feed that refreshes every day: Berlin ArtWalk tracks 350+ live events — concerts, festivals, open-airs, club nights, openings and tours — and clears finished ones automatically each night. Filter by today, tomorrow or the weekend and you have your evening sorted. Below: what the feed looks like right now, and the dates worth planning around.

What's on in Berlin today?

A snapshot from the live feed this week (10 August 2026): the 12th Berlin Circus Festival runs on Tempelhofer Feld until 16 August, Young Euro Classic fills the Konzerthaus with youth orchestras until 15 August, the Freiluftkinos in Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and Rehberge show films under the trees almost nightly — several of them free — and 'A World Within 2.0' hangs at Eszenzia, free, until 14 August. Any given Berlin day has twenty-plus listings like these.

Weekends add their own rhythm. A typical Saturday in the feed: a free community run from James-Simon-Park, Pilates in Volkspark Friedrichshain, yoga in the Neue Nationalgalerie's sculpture garden, parkruns on the city's edges — then the club and open-air listings take over after dark. On Sundays, Mauerpark does the classic flea-market-and-karaoke routine while artists paint the legal wall.

Berlin exhibitions now

The Galleries tab answers 'what exhibitions are on right now' the same way — refreshed nightly, closed shows dropped. Currently: 'Cassirer and the Breakthrough of Impressionism' on Museum Island until 27 September, Monira Al Qadiri's 'Hero' at the Berlinische Galerie until 17 August, Niccolò Masini's 'Islands of Time' at silent green until 16 August, and 'The white flag!' at Galerie Hentrich & Shrivastava until 5 September. The full picture is in our exhibitions guide.

Late-summer dates to lock in

  • Klassik Open Air at Britzer Garten — 22 August, with closing fireworks.
  • Pop-Kultur Festival at the Kulturbrauerei — 24–29 August.
  • Long Night of Museums — 29 August: 70+ museums until 2 am on one ticket.
  • Berlin Art Week — September, followed by La Mercè's Berlin equivalent of overdrive: see what's on in September.

How to check what's on, any day

Open the app in the morning, filter by today or the weekend, and see what's within walking distance — the feed sits on the same map as 215+ galleries, 450+ street artworks and the new audio guide with 100 narrated landmarks, so plans build themselves. Free on the App Store and Google Play.

Tip: The feed clears finished events and exhibitions automatically every night — whatever it shows you in the morning is still on that day. No dead listings, no closed shows.
